Writing music to tell the truth and transcend boundaries and with a double-platinum hit in the song “Burning House” – we are very excited to announce that the Grammy-nominated Cam will be returning to Scotland on Saturday 31st August 2019 to headline the Nashfield Stage at Millport Country Music Festival 2019.
Fresh from her latest triumphs at C2C in Glasgow, London & Dublin and this weekend’s Stagecoach Festival, the world’s largest country music festival held in California, Cam will be bringing her wonderful songs, such as Diane, My Mistake, Palace (which she co-wrote with Sam Smith) and her latest smash with Diplo, So Long, to Millport in her only Scottish appearance of this trip over the Pond.
Cam joins already announced artists American Young and Lockeland from Nashville, the legendary Sydney Devine, Remember Monday (fresh from The Voice), Sarah Jory, Laura Oakes, Danny McMahon, Scotland’s Eagles tribute band Hotel Caledonia, Izzie Walsh, Morganway, Gasoline & Matches, Jade Helliwell, Stevie O’Connor, Kezia Gill, Stuart Landon & Angels With Dirty Faces, Backwoods Creek, Keep It Country’s Kerry Fearon, Simon James & The Deep River Pilots, The Scoundrels, Elaine Lennon, Zoee and Have Mercy Las Vegas appearing across the Nashfield, Cactus Jack’s and Maverick Acoustic stages, along with Carson City, James & Wood, Rick Lambert, Greyhound Express and Rodeo Stomp Disco in the dedicated line dancing venue.
There will be many more great artists announced in the near future!! What a way to celebrate the 25th year of the festival!
Tier 2 weekend and day tickets are still available at https://millportcountrymusic.com/tickets/but are not expected to last long before the higher Tier 3 pricing arrives
Located within the Garrison House grounds at the heart of the beautiful seaside town of Millport on the Isle of Cumbrae, less than an hour from Glasgow, a festival wristband will offer access to all four music stages at great value ticket prices. The Nashfield concert stage will operate through Saturday and Sunday afternoons into early evening, thereby allowing attendees to catch the ferry back to the mainland with ease after performances. The other stages will feature great artists until late each evening.
On Friday 30th August, the last ferry will be at 10.30pm leaving Cumbrae Slip. On Saturday 31st, Calmac will operate an extended service; patrons must be at Cumbrae Slip no later than 10.30pm if they wish to travel back to the mainland. On Sunday 1st September, the last ferry will be at 8.30pm leaving Cumbrae Slip.

Alongside many music and other entertainment options suitable for all the family, the Emerging Talent Showcase will return on the Sunday to provide up and coming talent with the opportunity to perform on a festival stage.
Glamping and camping, with showers and toilets, will be available within an easy walk of the festival site. Superb food, drink and entertainment will be on offer on site and throughout the town as Millport becomes Nashville for the weekend.
PS Waverley has timetabled a Millport Country Music Festival Cruise on Sunday 1st September this year, leaving Glasgow in the morning and heading “Doon The Watter”, stopping at Greenockand arriving at Keppel Pier inMillportfor the festival, returning back to Greenock and Glasgow early evening.
